Paula Ovelar holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Pittsburg State University, where she received many awards due to her academic achievements. She is undertaking a master’s degree in Mental Health at the School of Health in Social Sciences at The University of Edinburgh, where she is receiving training in evidence-based psychological interventions, with knowledge in human behavior diagnostic tools and interpersonal relationships.

She has experience in research projects and data instrumentation, including an introduction in descriptive and inferential statistics and research methods in applied psychology. She has experience analyzing complex case studies, considering individual characteristics of different populations and individual contexts, using different measurement tools such as pre/post testing and RCTs with a real impact, as well as Design Thinking or innovative methodologies with an emphasis in person-centered designs.
